This is a project made as an attempt to recreate a naturalist watercolor painting by Heinrich Harder in 3D. Compositing was a focus of the project to achieve the watercolor effect.

Biography

Carl Kinyon is a Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate of the University of Colorado Denver's Digital Animation Center. He graduated in 2024 and is currently working as a 3D Designer at WhiteClouds in Utah. He is passionate about understanding complex technologies and using them to create art. From the inner workings of Autodesk Maya to a CNC Machine he enjoys working his way through new tools and technologies until really understanding them.
